Building an Explainable AI Analyst for Company Intelligence
What if you could ask, “Which companies are expansion-ready?” and get a grounded, data-backed answer in seconds — not a hallucinated guess? In this talk, we share how we built IntelliCompany AI, an explainable company intelligence platform that combines clustering, feature engineering, and a guardrail-constrained LLM to generate defensible business insights. We’ll break down our end-to-end pipeline — from 8,559 companies and K-Prototypes clustering to a Groq-powered Llama 3.3 AI Analyst — and the architectural decisions that helped us win 1st place out of 86 teams at the 2026 NUS Datathon.
