2) Ten Years of Maintaining a Small Open Source Project: Lessons from GoDNS
Most open source projects never go viral. GoDNS, a small dynamic-DNS tool I have maintained since 2014, quietly grew to 1.8k stars, 21+ DNS providers and a steady stream of strangers’ pull requests. This talk covers the unglamorous side of open source: what changes once users show up, how to say no to feature requests without making enemies, how to get strangers to contribute, and how to keep maintaining for a decade without burning out.

Timothy Ye is a Senior Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase with more than 14 years of experience building backend systems, data pipelines, monitoring platforms, and infrastructure automation across finance and e-commerce, including previously at Shopee.
