Realtime Collaboration: A Brief History

Talk Description:

We’ll walk through the process and difficulties of creating a collaborative text editor. Several problematic solutions will be presented, followed by a brief overview of the current state-of-the-art tools.

An innocent looking textbox/URL can become a tool for a malicious attacker.

What is a XSS (cross site scripting) attack and how is it executed? What are the potential dangers and what can be done to prevent such an attack?
